I added some non Kodak gear today. The estate sale we went to had a camera bag with the Canon FTb in it for $15. They also had an old Agfa FB-20 folder for $10. I pulled a "How to" for 35mm photography off the shelf and offered the lady running the sale $20 for a "photography package". She hesitated, and I reminded her it would be $26 before the deal, and then she agreed. Off I went with my two new cameras. The bag was nice, it contained a huge flash with a battery pack, the camera with 50mm 1.8 lens, an an additional 28-75mm lens by Tou/Fie Star. The lens was a cheapo one, but the camera was worth at least $15 on Ebay, so I went for it. I'll probably just keep it, but I also like to know I could make some money on it. Even the folder is currently bid up to $25 on Ebay.
The final camera of the day was a Nikon CoolPix 3L. This is a camera that sold for over $200 back in 2006. I picked it up for $3.00.
It works just fine. I put batteries in it, it fired right up, and takes decent 5MP photos. The thing is small also, maybe my smallest camera yet.
So in conclusion, it was a good, light day. The only Kodak I go today was the roll of Kodak 200 (135) film that was in the Canon.
