3 becomes 2

In my life, I always obsess over life and death. If you've read just a few posts of my blog here, you'll see that.

On November 12, 2010, my Grandfather, James P. Godlesky, passed away. He was 87 years old, a few months away from 88. Alzheimer's/Dementia had already set in, and in his own opinion, it was time to go. He was no longer living, he was existing.

Since the day I was born (27 years ago), I've had three grandparents. My grandmother had died a year before I was born. My grandfather remarried the year I was born, and my step grandmother, Mary, was a blessing on the family. She filled some large shoes apparently left by my Grandmother.

So that leaves me with two grandparents. Nick & Hazel OBradovic, who are both going strong entering the infancy of their 80's. My Grandfather was the biggest family loss in my life thus far, with my Great Grandmother passing away in 2000.
