2010 in Review

- My wife of 7+ years started 2010 a few months pregnant with our little boy/girl.
- Bought a new 50mm 1.4 Nikkor Lens and a SB-400 Speedlight.
- A cold snap hit, I figured out that I could turn my deck into an ice rink.
- I created my 3rd vacation book, Wyoming 2009.
- I quit my 2010 365. I completed the 2009 one only missing 13 photos, but I was sick of photographing myself.
- I read one book, "The World Without Us".
- I had probably the worst year relationship wise with my parents.
- I got sick in April.
- I boughts tons of cool stuff for under $5.00 each at yard sales.
- Saw the biggest bamboo I've had to date shoot up in my yard.
- I completly remodeled my plant room into a nursery. From scariest room in our house to nicest. Hung and mudded all of the drywall completly by myself.
- I handed my epileptic Great Dane, Max, to someone else, for my upcoming childs safety and to better his life.
- My job suddenly was in jeapordy due to lack of funding.
- My first child was born at 3lbs, 8 ounces, after a super scary 5 days in West Penn Hospital. She would not come home for 4 weeks.
- I learned all about what a NICU is, and how it operates.
- I started a brand new job at Chemisty Communications after working at the same place for over 5 1/2 years.
- I produced the biggest website of my career.
- My child, while starting out 7 1/2 weeks early, caught up in no time flat, and is now exceeding many milestones.
- I photographed my child (Rachel has taken about 50% of the photos) every day of the year she's been here.
- I permenantly borrowed Halo Reach from Connor and have played 767 online matches to date.
- Visited IKEA for the first time in my life and have been there about 4 times this year.
- I learned jQuery.
- Traveled nowhere but Ohio for the first time in a long time.
- I learned all about being a dad, and the level of appreciation that comes with it.
